Amy Paris Photography is offering a complimentary professional headshot in exchange for a donation item that will help support survivors served by Fair Haven Rape Crisis Center.
When survivors go to the hospital after an assault, they must turn over the clothing they were wearing as part of the investigation. Fair Haven provides response bags so they have clean clothing and basic toiletries before leaving the hospital. These bags help provide a small sense of comfort during an incredibly difficult time.
Our goal for this event is to help create 20 fully stocked response bags.
Every item donated will go directly toward helping make that possible.

Each appointment is quick and efficient, designed to give you a polished image perfect for LinkedIn, business profiles, or social media.
Because the space is limited, this event will be capped at 25 headshot appointments.

Most-Needed Donation Items
Our Goal: 20 Response Bags
Since each response bag requires several items to complete, attendees are encouraged to bring a few items from the list to help us reach our goal.
All items must be NEW.
Clothing
• Sweatpants (sizes S–3XL)
• Socks
• Flip flops/Slippers
• Sports bras (all sizes)
• Underwear
Toiletries
• Chapstick
• Travel-size shampoo, conditioner, body wash
• Toothbrush and toothpaste
• Mini deodorant
• Hair ties
• Feminine products (pads, tampons, flushable wipes)
Make an Evening of It
Your headshot appointment will only take a few minutes, but the event itself is meant to be enjoyed.
We’ll have several wonderful local businesses on site offering experiences and information, along with mocktails, a featured artist, and a representative from Fair Haven Rape Crisis Center sharing more about the important work they do.
There will also be multiple giveaways and raffle prizes from our supporting businesses. Simply attending and bringing your donation automatically enters you into the drawings.
You do not need to be present to win.
Feel free to arrive a little early or stay awhile after your photo to explore, connect with other women in the community, and enjoy an evening that’s about confidence, community, and supporting a meaningful cause.

Amy Paris is an award-winning portrait photographer based in Northwest Indiana who specializes in creating modern, confidence-boosting images for women. Whether it’s a professional headshot, personal branding session, or portrait experience designed just for you, Amy’s goal is always the same: helping women feel comfortable, confident, and truly seen in front of the camera.
What to Wear for Your Headshot
Choose something that makes you feel confident and comfortable. When you feel good in what you're wearing, it naturally shows in your expression and posture.
A well-fitting top or jacket tends to photograph best. Clothing that is too loose or baggy can sometimes appear boxy on camera.
For the most polished look, solid colors are recommended. Patterns such as florals, stripes, plaids, or polka dots can be distracting and may pull attention away from your face.
Your headshot will be photographed against a simple gray background, which pairs well with most colors and keeps the final image professional and versatile.
Arrival Information
Headshot appointments are scheduled every 5 minutes to allow as many women as possible to participate.
Please plan to arrive about 10 minutes before your scheduled time to check in and get settled. If you arrive late, we may need to move to the next guest in order to keep the event running smoothly.
Photo & Video Notice
This event will be photographed and filmed to help share the impact of the day and support awareness for Fair Haven Rape Crisis Center.
By booking a complimentary headshot at Headshots for a Cause, you agree to allow Amy Paris Photography, Hoosier Highlander, and participating sponsoring businesses to use photos and video from the event — including your headshot and behind-the-scenes footage — for marketing, promotional materials, websites, and social media without compensation.
