Represent women over 40 and show that you can still be beautiful and be yourself.

Are we celebrating a milestone, transformation, birthday or another event with your portrait session?
No event, milestone. Was asked by a friend to consider this as she participated.

What do you hope to gain from participating with the 40 over 40 campaign?
To see myself in a different light and promote woman over 40 to show how beautiful we all are in life. 

What excites you the most regarding your portrait session?
To see how beautiful I can be.  I work from home now, limited business travel so to get dolled up and see the transformation is intriguing.  

What is the most valuable lesson life has taught you?
To take care of yourself first as no one else will and to be kind and generous with your thoughts, words & talents. 

What wisdom would you like to share with your younger self?
If only I knew back then what I know now!

Who has been the most influential person in your life and why?
My grandmother and my father.  My maternal grandmother was wise beyond her years and knew what to say to people when needed.  
My father, the wisest and most big hearted man you would love.  He knew when to make you smile, laugh, cry and be serious.  Truly a giant that is missed. 

What's your favorite beauty secret?
Wash my face everyday with Dove soap.  

When have you felt the most beautiful?
When I wake up in the morning to get ready for my daily 2.15 mile walk.  

What was happening when you were extremely proud of yourself?
When I accomplish a hard task and make great decisions.

Energetic, gracious and kind

This woman has a heart of gold!  She is so kind, helpful and generous!  I am grateful she walked into my life to participate in the first round of the 40 over 40 campaign!
