What is your favorite body part or feature? 
Eyes

Are you anxious or nervous about anything related to your portrait session?
Probably just getting started with it. I feel like once we get going, I'll be fine!

Why is it important to be part of the 40 over 40 campaign?
Because I feel that too much focus is put on women as we age to "look younger." What happened to embracing our flaws and aging gracefully? That's what I'm all about.

Are we celebrating a milestone, transformation, birthday or another event with your portrait session?
Because I want to feel beautiful in my own skin. After two kids, my body has changed and I think this shoot will give me the confidence to finally love and accept the changes.

What do you hope to gain from participating with the 40 over 40 campaign?
More confidence in myself!

What excites you the most regarding your portrait session?
I'm excited to let my guard down and feel confident and sexy.

What is the most valuable lesson life has taught you?
Enjoy every single moment! Take nothing for granted and tell those you love that you do indeed love them. 

What wisdom would you like to share with your younger self?
That I came out ok! I had a failed marriage in my 20s and at the time, it was devastating. My thirties were great because I met the REAL love of my life and had my two sons. Life does get better!!

Who has been the most influential person in your life and why?
My mother. She has taught me everything I know. Her love and support is unwavering. She never judges. She's always there when I need someone. She's my best friend and my biggest cheerleader. 

What's your favorite beauty secret?
Exfoliate! Exfoliate! Exfoliate!

When have you felt the most beautiful?
On my wedding day!! One of the best days of my life!!

What was happening when you were extremely proud of yourself?
I moved to Chicago by myself in 2011, not knowing anyone, after I graduated with my MBA. I consider both of those personal accomplishments that have taught me so much and have guided me to the beautiful life I live now.
